Dyanna's favourite quote is her own spin on the famous quote about football of Bill Shankly: "Music is not just a matter of life and death; it's much more important than that."

Lyrics

About This Song: Dyanna says, "The first time that I heard Bait A Hook by the incredible Justin Moore, I was totally captivated by the witty words and super catchy tune! I was inspired to write a parody from a country girl's point of view and Bake A Cake came to me over several days. My Heartfelt Gratitude to Justin and his awesome co-writers Rhett Akins and the multi-talented Jeremy Stover who also served as Producer of the crossover Hit Song!"

Bake A Cake
by Dyanna Lynn White

I heard you had to drive her home
after two little shots of Jack
She never held a pool cue,
don't know how to rack
My friend says she saw ya'll
dressed up in fancy clothes
Looked like she had a ring and a rope
pulled right through your nose
Sounds like it blows

Chorus 1
She can't even Bake A Cake
She can't even hook a rug
She don't know who Betty Crocker is
Afraid of every little bug
Knows how to throw out a smile
But the kind that always looks fake
I'm not cryin', Darlin'
 You'll come crawlin' back
'Cause she can't even Bake A Cake.

Has she made you golden biscuits
for breakfast before dawn
Has she knitted you a sweater
to keep you warm when she was gone
Can she chop a load of wood,
 carry water up a hill
Does she even know the difference
between a cow and a moonshine still
I bet she never will

Chorus 2
'Cause she can't even Bake A Cake
She can't even hook a rug
Don't know a shovel from a rake
Afraid of every little bug
Knows how to throw out a smile
But the kind that always looks fake
I'm not cryin', Darlin',
You'll come crawlin' back
'Cause she can't even Bake A Cake

I know some day soon
You're gonna wanna eat
Come on back here, Baby
And I'll make you somethin' sweet

Repeat Chorus 1

About This Song: Dyanna says, "Two close friends were going through extremely hard times and these words seemed to flow through me to comfort them. I was inspired by the beautiful instrumental song Love's Silhouette by Pieces of a Dream. "

Stay The Course
by Dyanna Lynn White

Now you're travelin' down another road
Where's it gonna take you this time?
Let the tears and sadness go
Try to leave it all behind
Look to the Stars in the Heavens
They're shinin' for you every night
Don't hold the World on your shoulders
The darkness disappears with the Light

Chorus
When the Tide's runnin' low
The Four Winds won't blow
Stay The Course now
When the Seas get too rough
You've had enough
Stay The Course now
That takes you to there from here

You've been a loner for way too long
Time to let somebody inside
Stolen Magic and Dreams not shared
Won't happen if you run and hide
Look to your Heart for the answers
They're waiting for you every day
Don't be afraid to take chances
That's what Life is for anyway

Repeat Chorus

Go where your Heart leads
Let your Sails be filled with
 Freedom's Wind

Let It Grow
by Dyanna Lynn White

We've all made mistakes before
Sometimes it's hard to see
That the simple ways in life
Is how it ought to be
So if there comes a second chance
To turn it all around
It's an easy thing to do
Plant another seed in the ground

Chorus
Let It Grow
The Miracle of change
A new set of rules
To a new kind of game
Everything is different
Everything's the same
Let It Grow
Turn your face to the sun everyday
Hold the truth close
Don't you let it slip away
If you love the Earth
And you want her to stay
Let It Grow

For a bright future of hope
It's our dream today
Open up your heart and mind
To find a better way
We all need to understand
What we need to live
It's all about the land
And all she has to give

Repeat Chorus

Bridge
You can bring the shovel
I can bring the seeds
Together we can grow
Everything we need

Repeat Chorus

Mystery Of Love
by Dyanna Lynn White

Mystery of Love is calling
It beckons in the night
I feel my senses falling
Wrong never felt so right

Dreamers' Love lasts forever
In shades of Ecstasy
There's just one thing remember
Dreams never come for free

Tell me all your secrets tell me
Tell me what I need to know

Dreams come around by midnight
So hard to touch or see
There's just one thing remember
Your Dreams all belong to me
